This is just to post updates on my various projects, like my full sized R2D2, my Han Solo in carbonite, my Boba Fett, Yoda, C3PO......AND the finishing of our basement (and home theater)or anything else that I might think is interesting enough to post.

Han Solo Costume Arrived

I just got this in the mail. Well done! I'll have to dirty it up a bit somehow.

It will go well with my Han Solo head I HAD on my Stormtrooper body. Now I need a proper mannequin so I will have a 1:1 Han Solo...MAN they are tough to get a hold of!!!

Any suggestions?!

Boba Fett.....DONE

Well...mostly. His Jetpack thrusters broke off in the move so I need to replace a couple parts..but you can't tell from this view.

Fett Blaster..DONE

Finished off Fett's blaster last night. Looking forward to seeing it in my 1:1 Fett's hands!!

Mal Gun...IMPROVED!

I was staining my Fett Blaster stock and thought maybe I could brush the stain on the stock of my Mal gun to make it look more like wood. It looked GREAT (no longer just cheesy brown paint), but was sticky. I had to get some polyurethane to finish it off.

I brought it into work today and showed people. They all thought it was reall wood. :) SUCCESS!!!

Here is an older before pic (from before I even had the brown paint on it)

Here is a pic I just took with my phone:

I finally had a chance to work on my blaster a bit (we just moved...things have been crazy). I chiselled out the recess for the stock. The connector piece I made at work from aluminum. I am going to paint it black, then rough up the edges with sandpaper...to "wear" it.

The stock itself a buddy made for me (THANKS!).

Here are a couple pics!
